After the pallets that come to station are indexed, main bearing caps are removed automatically by screwdrivers that attached to the robot tips. Thanks to pneumatic screwdrivers, main bearing caps can be removed in 2 seconds with 130-140 Nm torque.
A robotic tightening application. The engine block on the pallet, enters to post through the inlet conveyor. The post fixes the pallet with a pneumatic piston. Then, robot steps in, perform the tightening operation and recedes. Stopper releases the pallet. Pallet goes out from the post.
